When and where to plant: Select a sunny location and sow seeds after last frost and the ground warms. For earlier crop start indoors. Cultivate soil and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed.

Harvesting: Pick pods when tender and young (1/3″). Remove over-ripe pods to maintain plants vigor.
