Description
Variegated Fragrant Solomon’s Seal is a shade loving herbaceous perennial
with gracefully arching stems. Showy light green veined foliage edged with white emerge on red stems and turn yellow in fall. Sweetly fragrant clusters of small bell-shaped white flowers dangle from the leave axils in spring are followed by blue-black fruit seeds.Best grown in
part shade
and rich moist well-drained soils. Tolerates both wet and dry soils. Unlike the native species, Fragrant Solomon’s Seal may cause discomfort if eaten.
