THE pickled pepper! Sweet Italian peppers with just a hint of bitterness. Harvest when they’re a sunny yellow-green color. Two to four inch, elongated fruits grow on two foot tall plants. Also goes by the name friggitello (plural friggitelli), Salonika pepper, and Tuscan pepper. It’s a mild, sweet Italian pepper with a hint of bitterness, which is what makes them such good pickles.
