Description
About– A well known heirloom variety that produces 6-8″ heads that are bright white! In the fall, when the weather starts to cool, the leaves will curl upward and self-wrap the head.
When and Where to Plant– For earlier harvest, start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Set plants out or direct sow seeds at time of last frost. Cauliflower prefers a well-drained, fertile soil with a pH at 6.0-7.5. Grows best in cooler temperatures.
Care and Harvest– Water often. Prefers well amended soils and high levels of nutrients. To harvest, use a sharp knife to cut the stalk about 1″ below the head.
