Description
About– Asian type eggplant producing long, thin fruit that typically grow 6-8″ long and 1.5″ wide. The dark glossy skin is thin, tender and has an almost bright white flesh. Fruit are easy to prepare – just slice and sauté or stir–fry, no peeling or salting required.
When and Where to Plant– Start indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Plant in an area that is well draining and gets full sun.
Care and Harvest– May require staking to keep the plant upright while maturing. harvest when skin looks glossy or at desired size. Cut off the vine about an inch above the fruit.
