Murphy & Rude is an independently owned and operated malting company located in Charlottesville, VA. They are committed to working with small and local farms in order to source the highest quality and freshest grain possible. They operate on a very small scale and specialize in specialty malts designed to deliver maximum color and flavor.
This Pilsner Malt is lightly modified and cured at low temperatures to unveil the terroir of Virginia by way of earthy flavor attributes (straw, dry grass, mineral). Pilsener malt is low in color to provide a very light, clear, crisp wort.
