Japanese Garden Juniper is a slow-growing coniferous
shrub
with trailing branches that makes an excellent ground cover. The spiny aromatic needle-like foliage is blue-green to grey-green and earns purplish hues in winter.Best planted in
full sun
and well-drained soils. Drought Tolerant once established. The cones often do not produce on this cultivar.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low Maintenance.Junipers are generally susceptible to blights, especially in unusually wet weather. Rust and canker may occur, though it is not serious. Potential pests include aphids, bagworms, webworms, and scale.
