Husker Red Beardtongue is a compact native herbaceous perennial with rigid upright dark stems and dark green lance-shaped foliage that turns maroon.Loose raceme of small tubular white flowers with pink blush bloom mid spring to early summer.Grows best in partial sun and dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought and heat tolerant.
