Description
About– This unique variety got its name for having long, thread-like individual flower clusters and seedpods. Great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds as well as a wonderful, fragrant cut flower that blooms in shades of white, pink, rose and violet. Requires little care and thrives in hot weather and drought conditions.
When and Where to Plant– Seeds require light to germinate and should not be covered by more than 1/16″ of soil. Start indoors 2-4 weeks before last frost or outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Prefers full sun and well draining soil.
Care and Harvest– Remove dead flowers to encourage re-blooming. Do not over water. To use as a cut flower, harvest when buds are closed but show some color.
