Can-Filters has designed and built the Can-Lite for convenience and long life. 100% Australian Granulated carbon, aluminum top and bottom, integrated flange, and 51% open perforation are features of the Can-Lite filter. Can Lite is manufactured in a dedicated carbon filter plant in North America.

Can-Filters uses the highest grade carbon carrying the highest CTC. Activated carbon filters have been proven an effective tool for air filtration, removing a variety of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), odors, and other gaseous contaminants. They work by a process known as adsorption where VOCs, odors, and other gaseous contaminants adhere to the carbon’s surface. Can Fan also manufactures the largest and smallest filter sizes allowing for the widest range of versatility in your system.

Activated carbon filters are the best way to eliminate most VOCs, gasses, and odors from the air. Combined with a fan in a ventilation system, 99.9% of noxious odors can be trapped inside the filter for good. Through adsorption, activated carbon literally traps the carbon-based contaminants in the air that could harm you and keep them locked tight inside the filter. Using activated carbon ensures optimal pore structure and that the pathways the air travels through the filter are optimal, so that the maximum amount of contaminant becomes trapped in the filter and does not escape into the air.
