This easy going, easy care native provides 3 seasons of landscape interest to humans and year round enjoyment to many essential native birds and butterflies. Flattened heads of creamy white flowers open in mid-May providing a great supply of nectar to bees and butterflies. Medium to deep green, trident-shaped leaves stay clean and beautiful all summer and provides a great contrast to bright red berries that are persistent into winter and a sought out food for loads of our favorite birds, while also providing great nesting cover for them and other small mammals.
