Description
Matricaria recutita
Branched, somewhat erect stems grow to 24″ tall. Commonly used in teas to promote relaxation. Leaves and flowers are harvested at bloom and used fresh or dried for later use.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Chamomile will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, chamomile will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for flowers. Annual.
