Secret Jardin DF16 Flange Support (for 16-19mm tent poles)

Description

Ever wanted to cut a bigger hole in your tent for a larger extraction? Secret Jardin has the solution by creating your own custom flanges! Thanks to Secret Jardin’s Ducting Flange tools, it is now possible to choose where to position the air inlets and outlets for the intake and the extraction .

How does it work?

Secret Jardin’s DF16 flange bracket is to be placed in the corner of your tent where you want to make your entrance/exit hole, attaching the grey part to the 16mm diameter bars. Then, on the outside, connect the second black part to it using screws and a screwdriver.

This circle thus positioned allows you to consolidate the future opening (supports up to 5Kg), and to cut the canvas by forming a circle, thanks to the cutting tool. Then you can : 

• Add a 4″, 5″ or 6″ spigot, and/or, 
• Add a light baffle – a disc that sits inside the 6″ hole which lets air travel through it but doesn’t allow light out, or, 
• Attach Secret Jardin EC Extractor fans and/or Secret Jardin filters

Example: by using the flange kit (SKU 10342) and the light baffle (10357), this will give you the ability to add an extra passive ventilation intake anywhere on your tent (preferably for intakes, you’d want them along the bottom of your tent.)   

You can add a flange spigot on both sides if you wish.
