 Planting Instructions

Best Planting Time:

• Indoors: Start 8-10 weeks before the last frost (ideal for controlled germination).

• Outdoors: Transplant after all frost danger has passed and soil reaches 15°C (60°F).

Planting Steps:

1. Soil: Well-draining, slightly acidic mix (pH 5.5-6.5) with compost.

2. Depth: Surface-sow or lightly cover with 1-2 mm of soil (kiwi seeds need light to germinate).

3. Spacing: Start in small pots; transplant seedlings 1-2 feet apart initially.

4. Light: Bright, indirect light for seedlings; mature plants need full sun to partial shade.

5. Moisture: Keep soil consistently damp (not soggy) until germination.

Germination & Early Care:

• Sprout Time: 2-6 weeks (can be erratic).
