Maiden’s Blush Lilac

Description

Maiden’s Blush Lilac is a deciduous 
shrub
with an upright habit and rounded crown. Its medium green foliage earns burgundy to bronze tones in fall.  Panicles of pink buds open to highly fragrant pink flowers that soften to blush with age and bloom heavily from early to mid spring.  Best flowering with
full sun
 and rich, moist well-drained neutral soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases. Does not do well in acidic soils. Overfertilization can reduce blooms.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Groundcover, Foundational Plantings, Hedges, and Containers.
