Description
About– Beautiful and unique, this variety has a deep brown center with petals that are a rusty red color in the center and fade out to a bright yellow tip. The 5-6″ heads grow on stems ranging from 5-7′ in height.
When and Where to Plant– Direct sow in the spring after the threat of frost has passed. Prefers well draining soils and full sun.
Care and Harvest– Lightly fertilize and water regularly. If harvesting the head for seeds, allow the plant to die back and hang the flower heads to dry.
