HEIRLOOM. A great winter squash for a small garden! Compact bush plants grow 36″ diameter with three to eight fruits per plant. Otherwise identical to Table Queen Acorn squash.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Winter squash will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, they will need at least an inch of water per week. Harvest once the rind is firm and before a hard freeze. Be sure to cure your winter squash for storage. Annual.
