Description
About– Grow your own award-winning Imperator Carrot for a sweet and tender harvest. Its slender roots grow 8 – 9 inches long with 1½ inch shoulders, tapering to a blunt end. Enjoy its deep orange flavor with every bite.
When and Where to Plant– Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. Will grow best in deep loose, well-drained soil. Sow directly into the garden rather than starting indoors and transplanting.
Care and Harvest– When thinning, cut plants instead of pulling them out or it may damage root systems of adjacent plants. When carrots have reached maturity, gently pull them up by the tops.
